My mentor at work retired at the beginning of December, which has meant stepping into some pretty big shoes. I could not have asked for a better person to have learned from. I can only hope that in the future someone views me as I do her.
I can certainly feel the shift in the difficulty of what I'm working on. I know I can do the work, but I worry about my level of production. When you're used to accomplishing a certain amount and that takes a dive it's hard not to be concerned. I can only hope that my superiors correlate the two and are understanding (fingers-crossed).
