Are you kidding me?!

So by now most people will have seen the stories about reports that Sarah Palin wrote off her children's travel expenses as official State business and how the RNC was picking up the cost of her wardrobe to date (over $150k), but seriously?! $22,800 for her makeup artist for the first 2 weeks of October?! That's more than a lot of families make in a year!

Of course, the folks over at Fark.com weighed in and there were some rather funny comments, here are some of the best...

• I saw Mike Rowe do this job... it wasn't pretty. The pig just kept squealing and kicking. Took him like an hour to get the lipstick on.
• The campaign categorized Ms. Strozzi's payment as "PERSONNEL SVC/EQUIPMENT."
  I think this is emblematic of the fact that Palin is a tool.
• To be fair, that's a lot less than what they had to pay the guy who procured the livers of young children for Cheney during the 2004 campaign.
