I had hoped to do the previous post either on December 31st or January 1st, but my video card bit it last week and we just now got the new one. I have the netbook of course, but being that it's so much smaller it's just not all that convenient to type for long on.
So that was one unexpected expense for us. Then on New Year's Eve one of the tires on DH's truck was slashed in some neighborhood vandalism. I'm glad that it was only one tire and that they didn't steal his license plate like some others, but damn them! Like it's not hard enough to make it these days without some punk(s) destroying our property. *sigh*
