I've had a few people now ask if we weren't scared because he was clearly part Pit Bull Terrier. The answer is no. His breed didn't even enter my mind until later. He needed help and we could give it...end of story.

My sister volunteers at the Kitsap Humane society, she said she's seen him and he seems to be doing well and is friendly. :) I hope he finds a forever home soon.
