Turkey? Check. Mashed Potatoes? Check. Stuffing? Check. Gravy? Check. Pumpkin pie and whipped cream? Check!
Everything is set for a Thanksgiving made for two. Dad and stepmom are at their new house in Fallbrook. Mom and her guy friend have jetted off to Cabo San Lucas for a week. It's just me and DH for dinner.
I don't have to consider the dietary wishes of others. I don't even have to pick up the house. I get to just enjoy my day with DH and our darling little dog. Now there is something to be thankful for.
