My parents are officially residents of Fallbrook, California. They arrived at their new home yesterday, having driven down from Bremerton, Washington. Their belongings and the Prius will arrive from Kauai, Hawaii sometime tomorrow.
So what did they do on their first day as Californians? Bought a bed, painted their living room* and enjoyed the 83 degree weather! 83 degrees! On the first day of November! Craziness!
*They painted their living room the same color as ours.

when are you coming to visit?
Not sure on the visit. Both of us are out of vacation for the year, so not until 2010 sometime probably.
