We've got the moss on the ropes as it were (see here for the back story). We had to reapply the moss killing agent, but now the moss is officially blackened. We have some beautiful weather coming up and can rake out what needs to be, then DH can put down new seed and fertilizer. We also got a zinc based powder to put on the roof to kill moss and deter it from returning.
As for our new gnome recruit, he is nearly ready for full time guard duty. He just needs me to finish up his new uniform. Seriously folks, if you don't have a garden gnome to protect your yard, you're just asking for trouble.
