The good news...it's not a bacterial infection, viral infection or damage to the eye.
One of River's eyes has been accumulating "gunk" in the corner at an increased rate the last week. We kept having to wipe away the build up, but it would come back pretty quick. We got some eye drops to see if there was maybe something in her eye that needed flushed out. A steady stream of eye drops, which she hated, helped for a while, but we finally decided a trip to the vet was in order. And the verdict? Seasonal allergies.
