She's scared of what?

River is afraid of sports. Specifically televised sports. Or possibly its our cheering of the televised sports. It's hard to tell.

She's also afraid of the lawnmower (though she's getting better) and the vacuum cleaner. But she's been afraid of those things from the beginning. The fear of sports is new.

The sport doesn't seem to matter, but when a sporting event comes on television, whether or not we're cheering or not, off she slinks to hide. It's sad to watch her...tail between her legs, head low. Poor little thing...I wish I knew how to help her.

Edit 10/6/11: DH just turned on the television, ON MUTE, to check the score, and River immediately went to hide. True story. o_O
