We got her a bright orange vest made for dogs so she'll be safe. She'll look so cute out there on the end of her 30' bright orange leash. I can't wait to see how she does!

First Hunt!
We're taking River pheasant hunting tomorrow for the first time. And by 'we' I mean DH will be hunting and I will be in charge of River.
We got her a bright orange vest made for dogs so she'll be safe. She'll look so cute out there on the end of her 30' bright orange leash. I can't wait to see how she does!

How's the little puppy's ears and puncture wounds? Poor thing? And what's this about you hunting? Be careful!
The ear infection is gone. The puncture wounds are nearly cleared up and her fur is growing back in where it was shaved.
I have all the requisite hunting safety gear, so I'm all good, no worries. I cut a pretty cunning figure in hunter orange and carrying a latte.
